Claire Culp Monzon

Claire earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a Major in History and a Minor in Spanish. She then earned her JD from Cumberland School of Law and became a member of the Alabama bar in September of 2023. During her time at Cumberland, Claire was involved in numerous activities, including serving as President of the Hispanic Interest Law Student Association for 2022-2023. She was also involved with the Cumberland Innocence Clinic-- the only innocence clinic in the state of Alabama. As part of that project, Claire and her fellow members investigated potential cases of wrongful convictions for proof of factual innocence.
In addition to her time at our office, Claire has also worked for the Jefferson County Public Defenders Office and for Legal Services Alabama. We are fortunate to have her as part of our team!
